By using this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. Please also read our PRIVACY STATEMENT regarding personal information provided by you.

We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received. Once your order has been confirmed, we will not be able to make any changes.


Your Delivery

We currently offer only one delivery option, Fastway Couriers, second business day within the island or 3-5 days between islands. For Bank Holidays (if applicable): please allow an extra working day.

If you wish to have your item shipped to you internationally, please contact us before purchase to make sure it is possible.


Price and Payment Options

Payment Options

We accept credit, debit cards, DPS (via PayPal) internet banking transfers (within NZ).

Please see www.paypal.com for information on PayPal payments.

All prices are inclusive of GST (where applicable) and are correct at the time of entering the information on to the system. The total cost of the order is the price of the products ordered plus the delivery charge of $10.00 per order Australia.


Credit card Validation

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not for any reason authorise payment then you will be notified of this. In assessing your request for goods or services we may use your information for the purposes of the prevention and detection of fraud.



We guarantee to refund any item that is found to be faulty and postage will be paid by Action Outdoors Ltd. We do not offer refunds if goods are returned in an unsatisfactory condition or unfit for purpose or not in their original packaging. Keep a record of your shipment until you have received a credit, refund, or replacement.

The refund will be processed once your goods are received into our warehouse. Please note that it may take 5-7 working days for the refunds to show in your account. Each item returned is refunded separately, and will show on your statement as a refund / credit from Action Outdoors Ltd.



Warranty Definition:

Action Outdoors Ltd’s warranty policy covers our products for 12 months from the purchase date. Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Damage or faults occurring as a result of misuse, accident, or wear and tear is not covered by our warranty policy. If the product is still under warranty then the repair will be at our expense including the freight to return the repaired or replacement product. If the product is out of warranty then we can still have the product repaired however, the cost of the repair will be charged to the customer.

Action Outdoors Ltd will wherever possible repair any fault to a factory issue standard and return it to you at no charge. Where a repair is not possible or practical we will replace the product with the same or similar product. If a repair or replacement is not possible due to the product being unavailable we will exchange it for any of Action Outdoors Ltd products of the same value as your original purchase price. Where none of the above solutions is possible or practical, then you have the option of receiving a full refund or store credit.

Once we have received the product we will assess the warranty claim and contact you to arrange the best solution for you.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Action Outdoors Ltd. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.


Fair Trading Act 1986

The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Product Information

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you will see depend on your monitor we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. All sizes and measurements are approximate, however we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible. Unless otherwise stated, sizes indicated are US or UK sizes. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis published including prices and promotions.

Prices are subject to change without notice and are inclusive of GST within New Zealand.

Goods are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when an order is placed and the time when an order is accepted, the stock position relating to particular items may change. If an item you have ordered becomes out of stock before we accept the order we shall notify you as soon as possible and you will not be charged for the out of stock items.


Purchase of Products

When you place an order on our website we shall email you an acknowledgement. Shipment will not take place until payment has been cleared into the Action Outdoors Ltd account. Once you have checked out and your order has been confirmed you will not be able to make any changes to your order so please make sure that everything is correct before clicking the confirm button. We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may, for example, result from one of the following:

  • The product ordered being unavailable from stock
  • Our inability to obtain authorisation of payment
  • The identification of an error within the product information, including price or promotion

    If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time.

    We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website.
